Learning More About EPIC
Hello from Omaha, NE. It’s a rare opportunity for both Cindy and I to travel together but it worked out for this meeting today with the Ethanol Promotion and Information Council. As you know, they are our primary sponsor and it’s through their efforts and support that Domestic Fuel exists.
Promotional Pumping
The action at one of the pump promotions coordinated by the Ethanol Promotion and Information Council can be pretty fast paced at times. To give you a feel for it I shot a short video clip at last week’s Huron Fuel Depot promotion in Ypsilanti, MI.
Developing Corn For Ethanol
I just finished up a day at Syngenta Biotechnology, Inc. in Raleigh, NC. Although I blogged the event on AgWired I did run into an interesting story about ethanol. Michigan Alternative Fuel Incentives
Here’s a story that ought to rile up the people who can’t seem to understand the need to provide businesses in America with incentives to develop and use alternative fuels. These folks like to use the word subsidy as if it’s a bad word. I think incentive is a much better word and in the case of this story, it’s more accurate. This is from Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm’s website last Friday:
Happy 4th
Have a very happy 4th of July celebration wherever you are.
Here in America’s heartland it was nice to see a little rain happen early. We needed it. Now hopefully it will clear up so we can get outside and relax a while.
Safe travel if you’re on the road today or anytime this week.
