“The National Ethanol Conference is a terrific opportunity for the next wave of ethanol leaders to learn, connect and get ready to make their mark on our industry,” said Neal Kemmet, chairman of the Renewable Fuels Foundation and president and general manager for Ace Ethanol. “Students, young professionals and military veterans will have the opportunity to build relationships, learn from industry leaders and gain valuable insight into where renewable fuels are headed. We especially encourage anyone at the beginning of their career to take advantage of this program.”
The scholarship program is now in its 18th year. It is named in honor of Robert “Bob” Sather, an educator who helped found RFA member company Ace Ethanol in Wisconsin and served as past chairman of the Renewable Fuels Foundation, which was established to help meet the education, research and strategic planning needs of the U.S. fuel ethanol industry.
The goal of the Bob Sather Memorial Scholarship is to reach young adults aspiring to a career related to ethanol with opportunities to hear from, and engage with, top industry leaders, policymakers, and academic and technical experts.
